Yeah, you are right, it's the chinese new year. The chinese can't seem to forget this tradition and the importance to them, like re-union dinner, lucky money and stay awake until it past 12. For me, I have not been celebrating Chinese New Year for about..let's see.. 3 years [ or more ] This is what happened when you live without your family - You will somehow lose tracks to those traditions... Well, anyway, I actually don't feel sad or lonely because I can't sit together and have the re-union dinner with my grandma, it's just that... for me I will treat it as a excuse for the family to gather together, that's all.
Today went town with beech and was going to make fun of his friend but we failed in the end. I knew his friend will recognize me... He is a nice guy, with a bit of fashion sense and that is good! After that, we watched "CJ7" and thanks to that beech , I had to sit with some kind of werid old man that sang along with the song as the movie played... It simply just scare me... The movie is funny,very funny and DAMN funny!!! I even cried at the climax part...So it's touching as well..
Then beech and his friend went on to watch their next movie, and I just walk to the Donut shop and picked up "strawberry" and "milky fashion". They are my favourite, but I am going not to eat them anymore due to some reasons... [ I am not on diet k! ]
At night, had a short conversation with my family in taiwan through Skype... We actually used webcam to see each other and it was really funny because I can see my grandma making face in front of the web cam... Haha!!
Here goes my last chinese new year before I reached 20.... Kind of expecting something to happen but I am not sure what is the something... Strange huh ?
